And with just a few simple steps, you can make sure your bottles stay clean, safe, and ready to reuse again and again.
Ensure you rinse and wash your bottles really well:
Clever Curl contains a high percentage of natural and organic ingredients so it’s important to avoid any chance of bacteria or mould forming in the bottle, especially if there’s product residue sitting around in a humid environment.
To clean your refill bottles, use warm water and natural soap, shake well, and rinse until all soap and suds are gone.
Our bottles are also safe to wash on the top shelf of your dishwasher if that works best for you.
Ensure that your pump and nozzle are both well washed:
Just pump some water through the pump and nozzle until it runs clear.
This ensures there’s no product sitting inside that could build up over time.
Ensure your bottles are completely dry before taking them to be refilled:
This step is really important in ensuring no unwanted mould or bacteria growth makes its way in.
It is also important to look after the health and safety of you and your hairdresser refilling your products.
Keep a second bottle on hand so you never run out of your favourite products:
Lastly, we also recommend keeping two bottles on hand, so you’ve always got one ready to go while the other’s being refilled.
